The clients' love of deep rich woods, warm earthy textures, and a passion for books and travel are evident in the new design.
Living room before
The living room and was basically a blank slate, drab, absent of colour, and empty. Utilized at the time as a make shift play area for the couple's child, it was about time for an "adult" space to be established.
Living Room
The main goal was to improve the storage and function of the room through custom cabinetry, properly scaled furniture, colour, and overall design appeal.
Before
The ensuite bath was quite dated and in disrepair. It was time for a change.
Ensuite bathroom
The circular tub in the corner was removed, opting for a stylish timeless freestanding tub.
Ensuite Before
The inspiration was to create a calm sanctuary in the ensuite where both clients could retreat to, relax in, and enjoy.
Ensuite vanity
The double vanity was also removed and replaced with two large single vanities that were joined together and customized by building a platform, creating a "vanity/Make up" area.
The single mirror was removed and replaced with two independent mirrors with lighting above.
Ensuite Shower Before
The bathroom was quite humble, a large space that was dated but held much potential. The goal here was to improve the deficiencies and create a sanctuary without loosing any storage space or functionality.
Ensuite shower
The bathroom was completely gutted. The old corner shower was removed, opting for one that is larger and enclosed in glass to allow in light and reveal the fantastic new tile interior.
Creating a luxurious abode
After five years, the homeowners were ready for a new, improved and sophisticated look.
